The Signs of Alcohol Poisoning

Alcohol poisoning is essentially an overdose of alcohol - when the blood alcohol level rises to a dangerous concentration. Irregular breathing - slow breathing of 8 or less per minute or lapses of more than 8 seconds in between breaths

Seizures

If you suspect someone needs alcohol poisoning treatment, call 9-1-1 immediately. Alcohol poisoning is a medical emergency and if treatment is not administered, it can be fatal. While waiting for medical attention you should:

Never leave the person alone.
Try to keep the person sitting up.
If the person cannot sit up, turn the person on their side so that if they vomit, they do not choke on it.
Do not give them anything to eat or drink.
Watch their breathing and perform CPR if necessary
